You know, you probably haven't seen much news for Final Fantasy XI up here. I blame the capitalists myself, but I'm here to combat that. BEHOLD! Final Fantasy XI news!

Basic status report being that a mess of us are all over the freaking world. The world being Midgardsormr, roight.

OK, so after that, you choose what nation you want to join.

Also, certain races that start of in certain countries start out with country rings which have some nice stat bonuses. The countries are as follows:

Bastok: The center of Hume civilization, Bastok is a heavily industrialized area. Galka came to this nation after their own country was destroyed, lending their muscles to the progress of this cultural giant.

Windurst: This is the home of the Tarutaru, along with their Mithran allies. It's a "magical" place.. almost making the halfling town in Everquest look normal.

San d'Oria: This is the Elvaan nation. A proud empire that has slighty faded in years, it is still a glorious jewel of power in the western region. Can you tell I love my chosen nation?

So anyways, a lot of us are spread between Windurst and San d'Oria, with a a sprinkle of Bastokians here and there. That sprinkling being Lightprophet.

A lot of us have reached the subjob levels and some of us (Jamik) have several advanced jobs under their belts!

Many of us are also experimenting with the crafting skills in the game, myself being a better than average cook and Deveryn making some of the best planks of wood that we've ever seen.
