Don't call it a comeback!

A lot of close games this week in the 4WCFL, most notably Barly vs. Wade, with Barly gaining his first win of the season against the Ballbusters of Bisbee due largely in part to Kansas City's defensive win over Baltimore. I finally climbed out of the cellar with a come-from-behind Monday Night win over Dogmeat's window aerodynamics specialists, leaving the Jersey Boy Done Good alone in the dark. Scyllz and Xaaz retain their undefeated records, proving that there can be, after all, too much of a good thing.

When it rains, it pours.

The Niners suddenly forgot how to score touchdowns, Garcia forgot how to pass, the Raiders forgot to bring themselves to the game, and Janakowski's rap sheet is longer than Al Capone's now. I find the basement, Keru drops almost 70 points and somehow Xaaz, Mr. Silver & Black himself finds the top spot. There is no justice.

Yarr, tis Cap'n Black Jack Bonney here, tellin' all ye scurvy land-lubbers that today be "Talk Like a Pirate Day", meanin' ye best make with tha "Yarr"s and the "Arrgh"s lest ye be keel-hauled or made to walk th' plank! And to celebrate this momentous ohkays... occah... event, we be flyin' th' Jolly Rodgers high today, declarin' our plunderin' intensh... in.. ways to all that have eyes to see! So draw a pint o' th' grog, ye mateys and grab ye favorite wench, for tis a day to speak like a sea-dog!

WOW. NFL's second week was a real doozy, and while some of us got screwed (Thanks Cedric Wilson), some folk, like Keru, came through big! It's hot sweaty, but still just a fantasy... it's 4WCFL, Week Two!

Well, football is here and the first season of 4W (Cyber) Fantasy League has been kicked off! This was a learning experience for many of us who had never participated in Fantasy Football before.
