At 0-7, Dogmeat's window tossers looked at the curse of Monday Night Football like an immovable force, a law unto itself. After a lopsided game in Tempe*, Dog has nixed the final 0 in the W-L columns. However, not all is peaches and cream for everyone - Kindira suffers another hard loss, his third in a row; Wade's Ballsmashers seemed to have missed the mark; and Xaaz's Conholio Clan prove that all it takes to win is Priest Holmes.

All in all, it was a low scoring week - Xaaz had half his team on bye week (and still kicked the snot out of me), the oft-high-scoring Elks managed to squeeze out only a handful of points, and only two teams got more than 54 points.

For a while there, it looked like Jersey Window Tossers were on their way to their first victory of the year, but like they say in Rio, "Hey don't blame us, blame it on Barlyic..." Better jokes will come when the union negociations are completed.

LaDainian Tomlinson had a stellar day, rushing 200 (!!) yards including one TD, but the deciding factor was Kansas City's win over the Raiders last night, proving once again that the weekend doesn't end on Monday. Next week Dogmeat goes against the slumping Song of Nephilim, in hopes of his first W.

In other news, my own SF 69ers have been climbing the ladder, with their fourth win in a row. The uncanny Sweedish Elks have gone undefeated since their first week loss, securing first place by points by a one-game margin. The Sultans of Sugar-High, Need More T-P, have taken a steady drop to the middle of the pack. Next week should be a big one.

Call it bad luck since I didn't update last week. Call it a curse, call it a jinx, call it no team being undefeated after Week Six. Derrik Mason had the game of his life, giving Barly's Poptarts the big 'W' and putting the final notch in the L column. With the loss, the always impressive Hooning Elks (Keru) have taken the lead via points after edging out Xaaz's Cornholio Clan. All in all a close week in scores, excpeting of course the 'Tarts manhandling of the Dr00ds.
